Tactical axes

Axes have been a known weapon since their use by the armies of the Middle Ages and Red Indian tribes. More recently however the axe has virtually disappeared as a weapon used by armies. This in itself  however has not rendered them useless, they are still very much in use by the Fire and Rescue services of the world when they attend both urban and rural incidents. They are a very useful accompaniment on mountain fires or bush fires.
