The American company CRKT has launched the new Berserker Axe designed by Ryan Johnson on the market. It is an axe inspired by traditional Viking axes. It features a walnut wood handle and a 1055HC steel blade, which is detachable. For all these reasons, it is a perfect tool for bushcraft.

1055HC Steel

The blade of this Berserker Axe is made of 1055HC carbon steel, an alloy highly sought after in the world of cutlery due to its excellent quality-to-price ratio. Its composition gives this tool one of the best steels for weapons that need to withstand high levels of stress while maintaining blade integrity.

Moreover, this type of steel offers great hardness thanks to its strong forging. Thus, this axe is perfect for tasks like chopping, maintaining all its properties and avoiding blade breakage. It provides suitable resistance for various environments, jobs, and situations.
