The CRKT Overland Compact is a cool pocket knife and the little brother to the original Overland, designed by T.J. Schwarz. He designed this knife as an outdoor kitchen knife. Perfect for preparing a meal when you're hiking, camping or during a picnic. For these situations, it's best if you're able to use the entire edge on a cutting board. That is why Schwarz made sure that the handle sticks out from the knife's edge a little. This is also called a negative blade angle. This allows you to easily use the knife on a cutting board or plate without having to put too much effort into it.

Of course, the CRKT Overland Compact is also great for normal EDC use. This knife looks amazing, and it's ergonomically sound. You quickly open it with one hand with the thumb stud and a frame lock holds the blade in position. It is really clever that CRKT enhanced the knife with an 'overtravel stop'. This prevents the lock from going too far, so it will stay in great condition for years to come.
