CRKT | Pilar Copper 5311CU | Pocket Knife

The CRKT Pilar Copper 5311CU is a nice and solid pocket knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. You immediately recognize his hand in this design. The sleek lines that are typical for Danish design, the elongated thumb hole, the finger groove: all typical Vox-design. A stunning pocket knife for daily use. Small enough to not stand out but capable enough for heavy-duty use.

This is the special CU-edition: the CRKT Pilar Copper. A copper show scale for additional character. Copper namely forms a patina in time. As such this knife will become unique! Copper is quite heavy, but because CRKT milled out the inside of the scale the weight is not bad at all.

The CRKT Pilar has a relatively short blade. Made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. Stainless and easy to sharpen. Because of the large finger groove you will still have enough grip with your entire hand. Your thumb will automatically slide towards the spine of the blade. As such you will be able to apply a lot of pressure with this blade.

The stainless steel handle can also handle this. The solid famelock keeps the blade in place. It is remarkable how this knife can feel so great in hand in many different ways. A characteristic of an amazing design.
