The kukri was the weapon used by the Gurkha in the Anglo-Nepalese War, as well as in World War I and World War II.
The Kukri Knife 31085 has the pommel in bronze helmet of the same color as the guard, the handle is white with a black drawing. The total size is 35cm and the blade is made of steel. The scabbard is black with bronze details. This version has been designed for collectors looking for a high quality collector's machete knife at a low price.
It has a slight curve of about 20 °, although some have a very pronounced angle. It is about 3 to 10 millimeters thick; its length is about 30 cm. It is almost always one-sided sharp. It usually has a thick back of about 5 millimeters, and in many ways is a hybrid between a knife and an axe.
