MEDIEVAL HELMET

A morion is a type of open-faced combat helmet , used from the beginning 16th to early 17th centuries, usually having a flat brim and a crest from front to back.

Although the Morion is most commonly associated with Spanish conquistadors, foot soldiers throughout Europe wore it as well.
