Robin Hood (Robyn Hode in earlier manuscripts) was a heroic outlaw from English folklore. He is traditionally associated with "robbing from the rich to give to the poor" and was both an excellent archer and swordsman. There are many legends surrounding him, the most popular of which sees him fighting the Sheriff of Nottingham and evil Prince John whilst King Richard was away fighting in the Crusades.
Though most famous for his skill with a bow-and-arrow, Robin Hood was also a skilled swordsman. According to legend, his sword was as well known as he was. The name of Robin Hod's most famous sword is Albion, according to some stories this sword was a family heirloom although in other stories this sword is stolen from a nobleman in Sherwood forest.
