Dagger S0237B Gladius burgundy, the pommel and the guard are nickel colored with the handle in brown with nickel stripes. The total size is 29.5cm with the steel blade with imitation damascus pattern. The scabbard is brown with nickel-colored finishes. Ref. S0237B
ROMAN DAGGER S0237B
The Roman dagger was known as the pugio of the ancient Roman soldiers, which they used as an auxiliary weapon. Like other legionary equipment, the dagger underwent a number of changes during the 1st century. It generally had a long blade, between 18 and 28 centimetres long and 5 centimetres or more wide. It had a central rib that gave the blade strength and firmness for thrusting.
