TANTO KNIFE BY EXTREMA RATIO

The Extrema Ratio T4000C, where "C" stood for compact was the first out in this newly (at the time) revamped "T" series of multipurpose knives from Extrema Ratio. They didn't have a T4000S. Then later they produced the T4000S, again in Bohler's N690 stainless tool steel.

The T4000 S continues the purest Extrema Ratio tanto collection, for those who love Japanise profile blades but do not want to waive the typical tactical accessories like handle and sheath.

Inspired by traditional Japanese style tanto’s the T4000S is the big brother to the T4000C (compact). With good balance, simple yet elegant shape the Extrema Ratio T4000S is a well made knife with the usual attention we have come to expect.

The T4000S has been designed for a variety of field tasks such as feathering and light batoning. The modified tanto blade shape makes for a precise cutting tool and excellent EDC knife.

The full tang blade extends beyond the handle to form a lanyard hole.

Extrema Ratio’s distinctive handle design ensures a good grip even with wet hands due to the use of Forprene a rubber of Mil-spec standard. There are no guards allowing you to apply thumb/finger pressure along the spine when required.
