Our Odin Viking Sword is based on an excavated find from Dyback in Sweden and now on display in the Historiska Museum, Stockholm. It is one of the finest Viking era swords ever found in Scandinavia. It was probably made in England and if not, it was certainly influenced by English styles. It is an exceptional example of the Winchester style of metalwork from the 8th-11th century. This stunning replica features a wire bound hilt (the original sword had silver wire) and a decorated stainless steel blade. This fantastic replica is produced in the world famous Art Gladius factory in Toledo, Spain. This item has a blunt blade and is manufactured for display only.
The Viking era was the time of ostentation. Highly detailed, very historical as seen in Stockholm museum.
