The perfect helper for carving and serving: the Carving Fork holds roasts firmly as they are being carved and helps when portioning out and serving the meat. All WÜSTHOF Carving Forks have very sharp, narrow prongs so that the meat is not torn or stressed.

BLADE OF IKON SERIES

Wusthof's fine, professional quality blades are forged from a single billet of high carbon, corrosion resistant X50crMoV15 stainless steel.
The edges are hand honed twice by craftsmen, and the manufacturing process is completed with a final laser controlled checking and finishing stage.

The finger guard/bolster is gently curved for comfort, its' modern design features a shortened bolster, which makes it easier to sharpen the full length of the blade, right up to the heel.

HANDLE IKON SERIES

Wusthof Ikon Classic knives have very comfortable, ergonomically designed handles, which are curved to fit in the hand more naturally.
They are a little longer to give better balance, and have a secondary bolster at the end of the handle, to improve balance even further.
The handle scales are made from hygeinic, pore free, black POM.
