The Gerber Exo-Mod Drop Point 30-001797 is a light-weight hunting knife, perfect when gutting medium to large game. From removing the skin to dividing the meat. But also when cutting feathersticks to build a fire at the end of the day you can easily use this knife.
The blade of this Gerber Exo-Mod Drop Point is made from 7Cr17MoV Steel. Stainless steel, easy to sharpen. Great if you want to keep your Caper in great shape. The handle is made from plastic. Because the handle is cast on the steel you won't be bothered by annoying seams where blood and other stuff can accumulate. It also makes cleaning the knife a lot easier.

Gerber designed the Exo-Mod for all hunters. It seems impossible, but that is exactly the point. The Exo-Mod knives are namely enhanced with modular sheaths you can click onto each other in various compositions. The collection is comprised of a large outdoor knife, a small Caper and a leg saw. You don't always need the saw or the small Caper. That is when you can simply remove the sheaths and comprise a set that will fit your day. You can, of course, also use all sheaths separately.
