Manufacturas Muela maker of knives presents, within the family of OUTDOOR KNIVES, the integral knife blade POINTER 12R.
MoVa 1.4116 steel blade:
MoVa steel is a manufacturing material with addition of molybdenum and vanadium and hardened at 57-61HRC, being one of the preferred by the manufacturers of cutlery. In general, it is very good steel for knives for general use, survval or bushcraft.
As for the conditions and cutting capacity, this type of steel will allow a sublime versatility in all types of work and textures. In addition, its structural balance is really incredible.
The composition of this steel is 0.53% carbon, 0.50% manganese, 0.35% silicon, 14.50% chromium, 0.50% molybdenum and 0.18% vanadium. It is equivalent to X48Cr13 in general properties.
